A week-long Educational Sports Camp  Children with Visual Impairments
Summer 2023 Dates: June 25th- July 1st
The 2028 Paralympics will be held in LA, California. Because the US is hosting the Paralympics the US will be given a free "bid" for a Blind soccer team. At this time we have no teams in the US.

The Institute on Movement Studies for Individuals with Visual Impairments or Deafblindness has secured a $30,000 grant from The Gibney Family Foundation to promote Blind soccer. Twelve Camp Abilities are offering soccer this year in hopes of training future players. These camps are: Camp Abilities Boston

Camp Abilities Tucson
Camp Abilities Iowa
Camp Abilities Indiana
Camp Abilities St. Louis
Camp Abilities Florida
Camp Abilities Maryland
Camp Abilities North Georgia
Camp Abilities Delaware
Camp Abilities Nebraska
Camp Abilities Saratoga (NY)
Camp Abilities Brockport (NY)

As part of the grant we have developed a Blind soccer manual and assessment. Please see the links to these for more information about Blind soccer.

Please contact Lauren Lieberman llieberman@brockport.edu or Lily Jagodzinski ljagodzinski@gmail.com for more information about this program.
